Aside from standard white tissue, we offer the largest selection of dyed tissue colors as well. As standard CRT computer screens tend to distort actual color, we have provided the closest approximate color match based upon the PMS (Pantone Matching System) equivalent. PLEASE NOTE: the PMS number equivalents provided are very close but should serve as a guide only - in addition, white tissue may vary slightly in hue ("brightness") from lot to lot - the same is true for colored napkins which are simply dyed rolls of white raw material. If you require a color that is not shown below, please contact us as we can very likely obtain it for you.
NAPKIN EDGES & TEXTURES
We are often asked the question; What is the difference between a "coined edge - facial quality" napkin and a "semi crepe - overall pebble emboss finished" napkin? The coined edge is simply an embossed pattern of lines (similar to the edge of a coin) around the outside edges of a smooth finished facial quality napkin. It is often assumed that this crimping pattern is for decorative purposes - in reality, it serves to hold the individual ply's of a multi-ply napkin together.
The semi-crepe overall pebble embossed finished napkin is utilized for 1-ply napkins. The overall "linen-like" textured embossed pattern provides the single ply napkin with added durability, reduced cost and is most commonly used for 1-ply cocktail napkins and dispenser napkins.
